Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 (pre-launch draft)

1. Agreement to terms

By using ProjectIQ, you agree to these terms. If you're using ProjectIQ on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. What ProjectIQ does

ProjectIQ analyzes a software project (submitted as a markdown description, or a zip file once that path is live) and generates an analytical report and execution plan. ProjectIQ is a tool that provides informational analysis; it does not implement changes to your systems, and its output should be reviewed by qualified engineers before acting on it.

3. Authorization Warranty — read this before uploading anything

By submitting any project, code, or description to ProjectIQ, you represent and warrant that:

ProjectIQ does not and cannot verify this authorization. We rely entirely on your representation above. If you are unsure whether you're authorized to share a given project, do not upload it until you've confirmed you are.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ProjectIQ harmless from any claim, loss, or liability arising from your breach of the Authorization Warranty in Section 3, including content you submit without proper authorization.

5. No training, no secondary use

We do not use content you submit to train any AI model. We use it only to generate the report and execution plan you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your Claude API key (BYOK for every analysis)

Every analysis run requires you to supply your own Claude API key — this applies to all input modes, not just zip uploads. You are responsible for:

ProjectIQ never stores your key, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Accounts and payment

8. Prohibited uses

You may not use ProjectIQ to:

9. Disclaimers

ProjectIQ's output is generated analysis, not professional advice. It is not a substitute for a security audit, legal review, or the judgment of qualified engineers, architects, or advisors. We make no warranty that the report is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProjectIQ's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Jurisdiction-specific limitation language is to be finalized by legal counsel.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms, including the Authorization Warranty.

12. Governing law

To be specified based on the entity's country of incorporation and target markets.

13. Changes to these terms

We'll update the "last updated" date above when these terms change and will make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes.
