1. What this policy covers

This policy describes how ProjectIQ ("we," "us") handles information when you use ProjectIQ to analyze a software project and generate a report and execution plan.

2. What we process

• Markdown/text project descriptions you paste at intake
• Zip file contents you upload, once that input path is live (currently shown but disabled)
• Your stated AI requirements, supplementary parameters, and free-text notes
• Your Claude API key, required for every analysis run — not just zip uploads
• Your phone number, used for sign-in via one-time codes

3. How your Claude API key is handled

Every analysis run — regardless of input mode — uses your own Claude API key. There is no pooled or shared key on our side.

• Your key is used only to run the analysis pipeline for that single report.
• Your key is never stored — not encrypted, not temporarily, not for any reason — by ProjectIQ, at any tier.
• Your key exists only in memory for the duration of that run and is discarded immediately afterward.
• Every report generation or re-generation requires you to supply your key again. There is no saved-key convenience feature, by design.

4. What we retain

• Raw uploaded code and text are never written to persistent storage. They exist only in memory during processing and are discarded once the structured analysis is produced.
• We retain the generated report — the structured analysis, execution plan, and evidence references (file paths and line numbers, not code snippets) — tied to your account, accessible later via its shareable link.
• We do not retain your Claude API key under any circumstances.
• We do not use your uploaded content to train any AI model, ours or any third party's.

5. Who else touches your data (sub-processors)

We use the following third-party services to operate ProjectIQ:

6. Data retention and deletion

• Raw source code and text: never retained (see Section 4).
• Your Claude API key: never retained (see Section 3).
• Generated reports: retained until you delete them or close your account.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated reports at any time by contacting us.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.

8. Children's privacy

ProjectIQ is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under 18.
